Welcome to Yorkton Faith Ministries Church. Pat and I are so glad that you are with us today. Yorkton Faith Ministries Church is a growing, loving family that desires to touch the lives of every person, regardless of age, culture or background, with God’s love. We welcome you to enjoy our service and the presence of God with us.
Our mission is to reach out to and minister to the whole family, building you into a champion. When you come to Yorkton Faith Ministries Church, please feel free to make use of any of our many ministries and outreaches.
Faith Statement:
- One God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
- Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.
- Jesus was crucified and He died, was buried, was resurrected and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
- Jesus is true God and true man.
- The Bible, in its entirety, is the inspired Word of God and is the infallible rule of faith and conduct for all Christians.
- The resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost are ours through the salvation provided by the shed blood of Jesus.
- Sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit is part of our Covenant, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
- Divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.
- In full immersion water baptism of adults and children that know what they are doing, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
- Marriage consists of one man and one woman.
- Jesus is returning soon to claim His Church.
