Hebrews 11:6 states, “But without faith it is impossible to pleases him for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”
In order to have faith, the leaning of our entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, we must first believe that the Heavenly Father is a rewarder. It is vital to see your heavenly Father as good. Psalm 145:8-9 reveals how God feels about you. He is good to all and His tender mercies are over all His works. In order to receive from the Lord you must believe that the Lord wants to reward you. In order to be healed you must believe that the Lord wants you healed. Jesus said in John 10:10, that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to bring life and life more abundantly. James 1:17 declares that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father. We need to realize who is on our side and who is against us. The Word of God says that the Lord is on our side. He is not an abuser. He is the loving Father whose tender mercies are over you. Hebrews 4:14-16 clearly states that we can come boldly into the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in time of need. This sounds like God is really in love with you. He will not turn His back on you or leave you forsaken. (Hebrews 13:5-6). He is faithful therefore you can have absolute trust and confidence in His power and His willingness to use that power in your behalf. He is rich in mercy and His love for us is great (Ephesians 2:4). Therefore, let us please Him by leaning our entire personality on Him. The Lord is on my side, who can be successfully against me?
PRAISE GOD!!
